COORDINATOR - THE PERSON
The Ballyfermot Chapelizod Partnership is seeking to appoint to our
team a person with a passion for and expertise in suicide prevention
and the promotion of wellbeing.
The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of the
various models of interventions for suicide prevention and how social
and environmental issues including mental health have an impact on
suicide in the wider community.
The successful candidate will have experience of at least 2 years
working within
social/community/homeless/drug/alcohol/rehabilitation/family
support/mental health services and developing / coordinating work
plans, training and communication strategies. This person will be a
self-starter with a strong ability to work on their own initiative,
but to be equally able to work as part of a team and to incorporate
feedback and consultation in their everyday work.
The post holder will require excellent interpersonal skills and will
be engaged in constructively developing relationships with a wide
cohort of stakeholders. She/he will be aware of the social
environments of the D**Apply on the website** area of Dublin as well
as be conscious of the additional requirements associated with working
with statutory agencies and the protection of public funds. They will
be required to understand accept and promote the social inclusion
ethos of the Company as well as its remit to deliver the highest
possible standard of service to its clients and the local community.
